Approximately seven years ago two young and adventurous girls arrived to a city with no limits – Barcelona. Both from Stockholm, one blonde and the other a brunette, met for the first time in an exclusive million dollar wine cellar belonging to a friend. That was the beginning of a very long and still ongoing story.
The blonde girl, called Kattis, used to work for a PR company organizing trendy events in Stockholm. She gave the impression of being a strong and curious woman with a lot of character. The brunette who was a few years younger called Laura had just arrived on a plane from London; she was a very energetic and outgoing girl however clear on what she wanted in life. That night was the beginning of what now has come true - Barcelona By Us.
They wanted to document their crazy but fun time in Barcelona - the city of freedom, independence and the playground of the world where everything was allowed. They wanted to share their experiences with the rest of the world and their promise was sealed with a toast of Dom Pérignon 98 and a shot of vodka. Time passed and they each went their own way, Kattis started studying image consulting and Laura went back to London to do a degree in business. Seven years later they are sitting next to each other working for the same company in the mobile industry. It didn’t take long before the idea was back in their lives, ready to be at service for the rest of the city.
Barcelona By Us was created 11th of January 2009 and will be in your phone, on the street, in the clubs and of course on the web.
